FortiAP FAP-231K, WiFi 7, 2x2 indoor access point

The FortiAP 231K is a high-end indoor access point designed for demanding business network environments. By supporting the latest Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) standard, it brings revolutionary improvements in speed, latency and overall network capacity for a large number of users. The device uses three independent radios (Tri-band) for 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands with a 2x2 MU-MIMO antenna configuration. The new 6 GHz band and advanced modulation enable more efficient data transfer and extreme throughput. The access point features an integrated radio for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and ZigBee, which can be used for location applications, and includes a high-speed 5 GE RJ-45 port with PoE support.

Managing the FortiAP 231K is simple and flexible. Devices can be controlled centrally through the integrated WLAN controller in FortiGate products or through the FortiCloud cloud platform. It supports rapid deployment with zero-touch provisioning and offers advanced monitoring and diagnostics via SNMP and Syslog protocols.
