    COMPEX WPP54A/G is designed for outdoor use by plug-and-go assembly. Once the unit is attached to the mast with the supplied accessories, you plug the UTP cable, snap the caps together and ready-made-waterproof. No screw-no problem).

A 13dBi 5GHz antenna integrated in the unit (when deployed in 2.4GHz mode, the external antenna can be connected via the R-SMA connector). Output 1x RJ45 Ethernet port, increased transmit power 23dBm (200mW). Based on the Atheros AR5414A chipset.

Antenna connection (V/H polarization): The integrated antenna is dual + polarized (vertical + horizontal). Also fitted with an R-SMA connector for easy connection of an external antenna. To avoid loss of performance when using an external antenna, this connector was plugged directly into the miniPCI connector (AUX) instead of the integrated polarization antenna. An integrated antenna with vertical polarization is plugged into the MAIN connector. If you use the Antenna Control setting in the firmware, please pay attention to this connection (Internal activates the R-SMA connector and the External option activates the MAIN connector and the vertical polarization internal antenna).
You can freely modify the antenna wiring before installation, if you want to use the horizontal polarization of the internal antenna, it is necessary to transfer the connector inside the device.
